New Oral Surgery Patients Prosper
Thinking about coming to Wisdom Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for the first time?

If so, then Dr. Houari, Dr. Walker, and the rest of our team can’t wait to welcome you into our specialty dental office! To ensure you’re completely prepared for your appointment, we suggest reading through the information below. It should answer some of your basic questions. Of course, if there is anything else you’d like to know ahead of your visit, just ask. Give us a call any time.
Your First Visit
After being quickly checked in by our front desk team, you’ll be escorted to the treatment area, where you’ll meet Dr. Houari and Dr. Walker. Once they have briefly gone over your health history and discussed your chief concerns, they’ll perform a complete oral exam and take X-rays/CBCT scans of your mouth. Then, they’ll present their treatment plan to you. When you both have agreed on everything and your questions have been answered, you’ll be escorted to the front to schedule your procedure and work out the financial details.
Patient Forms
We pride ourselves on running a very punctual dental office and never wasting our patients’ time. To help your appointment begin as quickly as possible, we recommend taking a moment to fill out our patient forms beforehand—you can download them by clicking on the link below. Be sure to bring them with you on the day of your visit. If you have any trouble getting a hold of our forms, please let us know, and we’ll email them to you.
Payment & Insurance Information
Our goal is to provide the most accurate estimate before your surgery.
Before you begin treatment, you’ll receive a written, itemized statement of fees. We’ll also provide information about your estimated insurance coverage, as well as your options to pay for amounts not covered by your dental insurance plan.
Insurance often covers a basic level of service. As a result, some of the treatments recommended by your doctor may not be covered by your insurance plan. We’ll let you know your estimated portion of costs before the commencement of treatment. However, it is at your insurance company’s discretion as to whether they make payment on the submitted services. As the patient, you are ultimately responsible for the total amount due.
Payment Methods Accepted
Payment is due at the time of service. You may pay with cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, Amex, Visa, or pre-approved third-party financing.
Financing
Financing is available through Cherry Financing and CareCredit, which are third-party patient lenders offering a variety of plans, including interest-free options and low monthly payments. To find out more information, please click on one of the links below.
Insurance
Our staff will gladly file your dental insurance claim and work to maximize your benefits. We ask that you provide us with your insurance information a week or more before your first appointment so that we can contact your insurance company to verify benefits and confirm coverage. You are responsible for updating the office if you utilize any of your benefits after your estimate is provided, as this will have an impact on your out-of-pocket expenses. If we do not receive your insurance information, payment is due in full at the time of your appointment.
